Super Kelp

Garlic
Garlic is a natural anti-biotic and is used to disinfect wounds, treat ear infections, cholera and typhus. This herb is anti-fungal and anti-oxidant agent and can help lower cholesterol. It may also be beneficial for risk factors for heart disease, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and cancer. The excess of garlic can cause upset stomach/flatulence, occupational asthma, postoperative bleeding, bloating, bad breath, body odor, and skin irritation. People with bleeding disorders should not use garlic.

Parsley
Parsley (Petroselinum) is one of the best known, diuretic and most nutritious herbs which contain large quantities of vitamins A, B, C and minerals calcium, iron, phosphorous, potassium and magnesium. It’s very useful for kidney and urinary problems and water retention. Its usefulness can be judged by the saying: “if parsley is thrown into fishponds it will heal the sick fishes therein”.

Green Tea Extract
Green tea extracts are one of the nature’s most powerful anti-oxidants. It helps prevent both heart disease and cancer by helping prevent vascular blood clotting and reducing cholesterol. It possesses antimicrobial properties that support immune-system health and protects against digestive and respiratory infections. The excess of green tea extracts may cause irritability, insomnia, heart palpitation, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, and loss of appetite.
Horse chestnut
Horse chestnut supports the vessels of our circulatory system and helps strengthen capillary cells and reduce fluid breakage. It is believed to be an excellent antioxidant to prevent wrinkles. It also helps in the treatments of phlebitis, varicosity and hemorrhoids.

Milk Thistle
Milk thistle has some active substances that helps maintain healthy liver function by protecting the liver from damage caused by viruses, toxins and alcohol. It is a herbal remedy for anthrax, asthma, bladder stones, cancer, catarrh, chest ailments, dropsy, fever, bleeding from the lungs or bronchia, hepatitis, rabies, jaundice, vaginal discharge, malaria, melancholy, piles, plague, pleurisy, spasms, and spleen and uterus problems. Taking excess of milk thistle may cause stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, rash or other skin reactions, joint pain, impotence, and anaphylaxis. Oregano Oil
This herb has healing, antioxidant and anti-microbial properties. It is used to treat a mildly upset stomach, bronchitis, nervous tension, insect bites, rheumatism, earache, toothaches and even athlete’s foot. It is also useful in relieve bloating, gas, urinary tract problems, rheumatoid arthritis, swollen glands, and lack of perspiration. In addition, it is as powerful as ‘morphine’ as a pain killer.

Just lately I’ve noticed …

There are so many people suffering with one form or another of a group of disorders that don’t fit neatly into any category and for which there is no one current effective treatment.

Relatively little is known about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and the range of Eating Disorders such as Anorexia and Bulimia.” More is known about the eating disorders but still they persist as a real problem for many people”.

Just lately I’ve noticed an increase in the number of people asking him to help them with one of these conditions. Any of these can cause major disruption to the life of the sufferer, and that’s just what they do…suffer. Some people find help with drug treatments or with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) but these approaches do not work for everyone. I got into this profession to help people, and so I have spent many long hours studying and searching out all that is known about these conditions and their treatments. I have been working with a young man with severe Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and found the therapy to be helping him to gradually strip away his feelings of being ‘ugly’ and ‘disgusting to look at’ and to form a new image of himself. It’s early days yet, but so far results in all the above mentioned conditions are very encouraging.

BDD – Body dysmorphic disorder – is a term used to describe a condition which involves feeling bad about some aspect of the body, the way it looks, smells or sounds, BDD gives rise to, for example, ‘my ears are too big’, my nose is too small’, my skin is too spotty’, I sweat too much’, ‘my voice sounds silly’ I just don’t like the way I look, etc.

These ‘bad feelings’ generated by BDD can be very exaggerated and tend to give rise to a large range of coping mechanisms and ‘safety behaviours’, depending upon the intensity of the feelings.

For example, people with BDD will repeatedly check the way they look in the mirror or reflective surfaces such as shop windows, apply excessive makeup, or attempt to mask their appearance, constantly asking for reassurance from family, friends and sometimes even lesser known acquaintances.

To Stop the BDD, four basic techniques are used during treatment.

Firstly people who have suffered from body dysmorphic disorder are taught to relax and distress. This helps more than most people imagine. They are gently introduced to hypnosis and to the many therapeutic techniques that can be effectively employed to help them.

Secondly, a brief look at the feelings and emotions causing this challenge for a person are softened in a symbolic and non-threatening way (a bit like a pre-wash cycle on a washing machine)..

Third, people are taught how to get out of those obsessive loops of thought which have given rise to the feelings which have in turn given rise to the behaviours. This involves literally re-training the conscious mind how to think differently. And the Subconscious mind how to set up new, alternative, or better thought patterns. we use a range of hypnotherapeutic models to re-pattern the behaviours at a deeper unconscious level.

Fourth, people are helped to project themselves and their new positive and confident self image into the future.

The estimated number of sessions for the treatment of BDD is 6 – 10, and theses sessions will be weekly for sessions 1 – 4. Further sessions will normally be scheduled at two weekly intervals. The first session is 120 minutes and all following sessions are normally 60 – 90 minutes.

Fisherman’s Wharf, Famous for a Reason

Fisherman’s Wharf is one of the most famous of destinations for visitors of San Francisco, California and with good reason. There is so much to see and do in Fisherman’s Wharf that you could quite easily plan an entire trip to Frisco and only leave the Wharf as you are leaving the city.

The Wharf offers more than 2,500 hotel rooms, several restaurants, and an almost endless amount of shopping, history, culture, and attractions. Anyone would be hard pressed not to find something fun to do in Fisherman’s Wharf.

If you are interested in the sea faring culture and history of the Fisherman’s Wharf, take the Port Walk, which is a walking tour that you can take at your own pace while learning about the history of Fisherman’s Wharf through the various signs located along the tour. You can also tour the USS Pampanito, which was a WWII submarine, or the SS Jeremiah O’Brien, which is the last unaltered Liberty ship that is operational. Both of these can be found on Pier 45.

If you find yourself a little hungry, perhaps it’s time to check out the many restaurants that the Wharf has to offer or simply to stroll on over to Ghirardelli Square, okay, I confess, I could spend my entire vacation here. With its rich history of chocolate and chocolate making, no pun intended, this square is now home to some lovely little shops and for chocolates, clothing, souvenirs, and jewelry. Really, who could ask for more in a shopping center? Chocolate, jewelry, and clothes, the only thing missing is shoes.

Back to reality and the fact that many of us travel with family. Fisherman’s wharf has a lot to offer in the way of family entertainment. Check out Pier 39. Ever want to take a Magic Carpet Ride or star in your own musical video? What if I told you that you could actually do both? In addition to the Magic Carpet Ride there is the San Francisco Carousel, which children of all ages will love, Frequent Flyers (perfect if you have any aspiring acrobats among you), and Riptide Arcade (I recommend giving dad an allowance before going in here unless you want to spend most of your vacation rooted to the spot-or giving a time limit and leaving the guys while the girls go shopping). In fact, there are so many things to do at Pier 39 you could almost make a vacation here alone. Don’t leave though without checking out the sea lions.

I can’t really mention Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and families without brining to attention the fact that the Aquarium of the Bay is a great place for family entertainment. The aquarium is a great way for you and your family to spend the day. Not only is this a fun excursion that your children will probably remember long after you’ve gone back to the real world of your day-to-day lives, but it is also an educational experience that is cleverly disguised as fun. Your children will learn about all kinds of marine life, while having a great time and never know what really hit them. This is one of those times when it is great to be a parent and you can pat yourself on the back for providing an educational experience that they are enjoying. Even better, they never have to know.

Last but not least, there really isn’t enough that I can say about the fantastic shopping and dining experiences that are available all along Fisherman’s Wharf. There are so many shopping areas at Fisherman’s Wharf that it is hard to keep them all separate in your mind but this is a girls dream vacation while still offering enough activities to satisfy the men in your life. If the history, the culture, and the fun aren’t enough to convince you, then perhaps the food should speak for itself. All you have to do is show up with your appetite; your nose will lead the way for everything else.

“Sometimes I’m not sure how I fit into this whole puzzle called life.” Have you ever thought that to yourself? Have you ever had one of those moments where you look at everything going on and you question how you’re connected to it all?

“Sometimes I’m not sure how I fit into this whole puzzle called life.” Have you ever thought that to yourself? Have you ever had one of those moments where you look at everything going on and you question how you’re connected to it all?

If so, you are not alone. And if it’s any consolation, the number of people finding themselves in that same situation is growing every day. Do a web search at Google.com for “Stay at home Dads” and you’ll get 214,000 web sites to choose from on the topic. A search on “Home schooling” will get you almost 1.5 million sites. “Alternative careers,” brings up over 2.1 million choices to click on.

There is no doubt that the world is changing. People are exploring new ways to do things, new perspectives to look at life from, and new ways to make a living.

As the changes evolve, individuals are having a harder time figuring out exactly how they fit in. The puzzle of life with clearly defined pieces is no longer so clearly defined. Initially, this can be challenging. After all, it is easier to figure out which piece of the puzzle you are, and therefore how you fit in, if there are identifiable pieces.

But with the morphing of both those clearly defined roles and the stereotypes that developed because of them, comes a new opportunity. It is the opportunity to fit in anywhere.

So how does one seize this tremendous chance? How is it possible to go from confusion to interfusion, and from separated to linked? The answer is to think bigger, stay connected, and create your own puzzle.

Think Bigger
We often limit our thinking by putting classifications on ourselves and those around us. I am a student, she is Canadian, he is wealthy, they are Hispanic, we are elderly. By using these types of classifications, it is simple to create an environment where we don’t fit in. The more we categorize people, the less likely we are to have something in common with them, and therefore, the more we can feel out of place.

However, when we think bigger, and broaden our view of the world, it becomes easier to see how we fit into it all. Thinking to ourselves, “I am a human,” or “We are alive,” greatly expands the spectrum of possible connection points. Suddenly, we fit in anywhere. Every place we go we have a link to all that is around us.

Get Connected
The world has shrunk and expanded all at the same time with the creation of technologies like wireless communication, satellite television, and most recently the Internet. People that would never have interacted with each other are now connecting every single day. Those interactions shrink the distance and differences between all of us.

At the same time, this access to people, information, and cultures expands the world in an instant. We have such easy access to information that it is impossible not to realize there is a massive world of people around us.

In some instances our interactions result in gaining static insights into how other people live, work, and play. The expanded offerings available through cable and satellite television bring that opportunity. We can watch and learn about what life is like around the globe. We see that although people are different in many ways, they are even more alike.

In other cases, the link is less informational and more interactive. We can get on the internet and through e-mail and chat rooms, be instantly linked to people that are literally halfway around the world. We can find friends in countries around the planet who have similar interests, challenges, and beliefs. With the click of a mouse, we can get connected.

Through the technologies at our disposal, we have access to a wealth of information and a world of people. If you use those technologies to be actively involved in getting connected, you will instantly see all the ways in which you fit in.

Create Your Own Puzzle
Thinking bigger helps you associate yourself with a wider spectrum of people. Getting connected helps you interact with those people. Both of these principles will help you fit in anywhere.

Creating your own puzzle takes the concept of fitting in to a whole new level. Instead of summarizing who you are and trying to find ways to integrate with the world around you, try letting the world integrate with you.

Why should you fit into someone else’s puzzle? Why not define the existence you want and therefore create your own puzzle. After all, it’s easy to figure out how you fit into the puzzle, if you create the puzzle. Does that sound difficult? It doesn’t have to be. If you open up your world by thinking bigger, and then use the concept of getting connected, you will have access to a world of people who also are creating their own puzzles.

No matter what type of existence you want to have, there are probably hundreds if not thousands of other people who want something similar. They may be scattered around the world and have backgrounds completely unlike yours, but when you think bigger and get connected, that no longer matters. In all likelihood, some of them have already figured out how to have the type of existence that you seek, and are probably willing to share that information.

Pick and choose the parts of their puzzle that work for you and blend them with your own ideas. Pretty soon, you will have created something that is totally unique, and all yours. Then you won’t have to worry about fitting into someone else’s puzzle because you’ll have your own.

As the world continues to change, traditional roles will become less and less traditional. In that environment, finding where we fit in will get more difficult. Think bigger, get connected, and create your own puzzle and you’ll find that you won’t have trouble fitting in, because you’ll fit in anywhere.

National Sibling Day is similar to Brothers and Sisters Day, which is celebrated on May 2and.

Sibling Rivalry: The Magic Secret That Stops It Immediately

It’s a familiar scene: Kids screaming at each other, complaining that, “He got a bigger piece of pie,” or “She got to stay up an hour later last night.”
When sibling rivalry rears its ugly head, what do you do?
Try to reason with the kids? Scream, threaten or punish them? Ignore it and run for cover?
None of these methods is very effective for very long.
But I’ve discovered a tactic that works every time. It really is guaranteed to end sibling battles, almost instantaneously. The only downside is it requires a bit of patience on your part.
The trick is understanding that it doesn’t matter what the kids are arguing about, the real battle is for your attention.
Really. They could be screaming at the top of their lungs over who gets to play with a certain toy. They could be red-faced and foaming at the mouth over who got to sit in the favorite chair. It doesn’t matter what they’re arguing about. What they’re really saying is, “Mom, I want more of your attention. I want to know you love me.”
Understand this, and you’re 80 percent of the way to resolving all sibling battles.
So here’s how to resolve the battles: Try to catch them before the argument escalates to the point where one or both kids need to be reprimanded.
If you can’t do that, wait for the next time. There always is a next time, isn’t there?
Next, make it clear that you aren’t taking sides.
Now try to discern which child is feeling the need for attention most. It will typically be the child who started it, though that’s not always easy to figure out.
Turn to that child first and say, “Look, I can see you’re upset. I’m wondering if maybe you need some more attention from me. Can I give you a hug?” (Or rub your back or throw the football around or whatever you do when you give your kids attention.)
When that child is calm, repeat with the other child(ren).
Your goal is to let your kids know that:
1) You understand they need your attention; and
2) You accept them; and
3) You aren’t going to judge them for needing or wanting your love.
Depending on how old the kids are and how long the rivalry has lasted, you may hear a little sarcasm. But I promise you, there’s a soft vulnerability underneath those barbs. If you can ignore the sarcasm and keep offering more attention, you’ll be amazed how quickly the arguments disappear.
Giving them attention doesn’t mean you have to be at their beck and call for the rest of the day. It may mean you give them hugs and kisses. It may mean sitting and talking with them. Or it may just mean sitting quietly and playing a game of their choice for a few minutes.
When They Both Want Your Attention at Once
It helps if you warn them that you’ll have to take turns giving each child individual attention. I handle this in a really straightforward way.
I just say something like, “Listen, I can see you both want my attention now. And honestly, you both deserve it. (That’s the best line I’ve come up with yet!)
I really want to give both of you the attention you deserve, but I’m only human. So how about if I sit over here and talk with you first, then I’ll play a game with you…and so on.”
This also works really well when there’s a new baby in the house. Obviously, if you’re in the middle of feeding, changing or bathing the baby, you can’t give the older one(s) the attention they want.
So just say as sympathetically as possible, “You know what? I bet you want a hug right now, don’t you?” Or, “Could you use some mommy time?” Or, “Does it seem to you like the baby is getting all my attention?”
Then say, “You deserve my attention, too. And I want to give it to you. Right now, I can’t because I have to feed the baby. But as soon as I’m finished I’m going to…[give you a great big hug, play Candy Land with you, etc.]
Is This Really Guaranteed to Work?
Yes, but, of course, you have to put it into practice.
I am the first to admit that when I’m tired, hungry, cranky or PMSish (or worse, postpartumish!), I just can’t bother with this trick. I mean, geez, even Barney would get PMS if he were a woman (and not a make-believe character)! So don’t expect the battles to stop instantaneously and never arise again.
Plus, when the kids are tired and cranky, it doesn’t matter how much attention you give them, they’re not going to respond to anything but food and sleep. Understand that, too.
The reason this trick is guaranteed to work because it’s based on understanding that the root of all sibling rivalry is a battle for your attention. Even if you do nothing other than understand that, and accept that all kids need attention (probably more than you have to give), you’re 80% of the way there.

It begins with the word “all”. For such a little word, it’s all-inclusive. From a possessive standpoint, therefore, we are talking about anything and everything we want.. The verb “is” is sort, sweet and definite. It leaves no room for doubt or question.

Finally, the creator chose the word “our” rather than the word “mine” This is a vital decision allowing us to completely enjoy today. The greatest events, and the best things in life, are those that are shared. The only thing the creator left out is the definition of who “Ours” represents. That is left up to you.

Do you own a home? Are you in the process of buying a home? Do you hope to one day own a home? Do you own any assets other than property? Like stocks, bonds, CD’s, mutual funds, or have a savings account? Do you own any assets that can be traced through an asset search?
If you answered yes to owning any of the above-mentioned assets, then you need to understand how to protect those assets in the event you cause an automobile accident, or someone driving your vehicle is at fault in an accident. Your bodily injury and property damage coverages are the coverages on your auto insurance policy that financially protect you if you are at fault in an automobile accident.
If you are determined at fault in an accident and do not have adequate liability coverage, that is enough to cover the injuries and damages to the other party, and you are sued by the other party’s insurance company, the court could order you to pay the amount that exceeds your limit of Liability coverage.
You would, then, have to dip into your personal assets to cover the amount ordered paid by the court. The court could place a lien on your home and other assets if the other party’s insurance company requested it. Even if you don’t own any assets, but you have a career and a steady job, you could have a judgment placed on your credit report. This could affect your ability to borrow money for up to seven years.
Therefore, if you own a home, bank accounts, stocks, mutual funds or have a reasonably well paying job and career, you should buy more Liability coverage than the minimums required by law.

Food Network Magazine created these recipes using 12 to 16 cups freshly popped popcorn. Use a bag or two of microwave popcorn, or make your own: Heat a few kernels in 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat until one pops. Add 3/4 cup kernels and cover the pot. Cook, shaking the pot occasionally, until the popping subsides.

1. Brown Butter–Lemon Cook 6 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 7 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon zest; drizzle over 16 cups hot popcorn. Toss with 2 teaspoons kosher salt.

2. Ranch Melt 4 tablespoons butter with a 1-ounce packet ranch seasoning mix; toss with 16 cups hot popcorn and 2 tablespoons chopped chives. Season with salt.

3. Garlic-Herb Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a saucepan; add 4 grated garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon each finely chopped fresh rosemary, sage and thyme and cook1 minute. Drizzle over 16 cups hot popcorn and toss with 2 teaspoons kosher salt.

4. Parmesan-Rosemary Toss 16 cups hot popcorn with 1/2 cup grated parmesan, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary and 2 teaspoons kosher salt.

5. Frito Pie Toss 12 cups hot popcorn, 6 tablespoons melted butter, 4 cups Fritos (or other corn chips) and 2 tablespoons chili powder; spread on baking sheets. Top with 2 cups shredded cheddar and 2 chopped scallions. Bake at 350 degrees F until the cheese melts, 3 minutes. Season with salt.

6. Truffle Toss 16 cups hot popcorn with 6 tablespoons melted butter, 1 1/2 tablespoons truffle oil, 1/4 cup grated parmesan, 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.

7. Movie Theater Melt 1 stick butter in a small saucepan over low heat, skimming off the foam and solids; drizzle over 16 cups hot popcorn and toss with 2 teaspoons kosher salt.

8. Veggie Pulse 2 cups each mixed veggie chips and dehydrated snap peas in a food processor until powdery; toss with 8 cups hot popcorn and 2 cups each veggie chips and dehydrated snap peas. Season with salt.

9. Three-Cheese Toss 16 cups hot popcorn with 2 cups shredded cheddar, 1 cup grated parmesan and 1/2 cup grated pecorino; spread on baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F until the cheddar melts, 3 minutes. Season with salt.

10. Gruyere-Porcini Pulse 1/2 cup dried porcini mushrooms in a spice grinder until powdery. Add 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley and 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt; pulse again until powdery. Drizzle 6 tablespoons melted butter over 16 cups hot popcorn; toss with the porcini powder and 1 cup finely grated gruyere.

1) Accept the problem

It is not important to verbalize your appreciation but simply to offer it. Appreciation is the antidote to some of the lowest forms of energy and emotions we are capable of e.g. shame, resentment, etc. By offering thanks and assuming that you already have what you seek, you immediately begin to attract more of it towards you, whether you have any of it or not.

3) Happiness is not pleasure
The experience of pleasure is a right now, in-the-moment, sensory-rich, and sights, sounds, and feelings experience in your person. Happiness is your meta-experience when thinking about something that brings you such pleasure. Happiness cannot be experienced by the senses directly, only pleasure can. Focus your life on having more now-moment pleasure experiences, rather than accumulating reasons or things to be happy about.

4) Stay connected to source
Find your own personal way to stay connected to your higher consciousness (the feeling you). For many this is meditation, music, song, etc. Why are we so attracted to parks? water? nature? wildlife and animals? We have awareness on some level that we are part of a much greater collected consciousness, something else, something higher than us. Some people may be partially disconnected from it, but you can never fully disconnect from it. Notice that the word emotion is e + motion. Notice that the concepts are so connected even on a linguistic level. Did you know that elephants are one of the very few creatures other than humans who cry tears of emotion? And when was the last time you saw an elephant running? They have adapted or have been given an ability to release emotions from tears in the same way humans do. People are attracted to source because we recognize that’s where we want to be, we want to have those feelings, we want to experience that energy, because the energy, just by being in its presence, makes us feel better about ourselves.

5) Live in the moment
We only have access to our full personal power in the present moment. This is practicing the art; it’s a habit to be developed, a life-skill. The extent, to which you are connecting, on some unconscious level, either into the past or into the future, is the extent to which you rob yourself of your present power. You are not going to be experiencing what it is that you want; therefore you are moving your emotional point of attraction, into negative territory. Being in the present moment is the only way you can make an emotional connection to what it is that you want, and therefore begin the process of it becoming attracted to you in future present moments. This type of emotional alignment cannot be achieved when your thoughts are in the future or past. “But how much do I need to be in the present moment? I have all this stuff to do…..” You must be in the present moment enough to have enough fully-loaded, pleasurable, positive full body feelings, about what you want to attract in your life, in order to begin the process of its automatic attraction to you. Living with your thoughts at a future or past moment in time, is entirely redundant in the process of being free of stress, and attracting what you want into your life.

6) You can never be enough to
You can never be sorry enough to change this problem situation. It is only when you love yourself that you have that love to radiate to others. It is only when you are allowing the abundance to flow to you, that you then have the ability to gift it to others. Giving your energy – in any form – to others, whether it is love, forgiveness, agreement, or any energy, when your cup is not already brimming over, is the fastest route to the emotional poorhouse. If you want to help others, you must first help yourself. Others easily see through empty gestures, compliments, or favors; and, such gestures only hide you from your own emotional impoverishment/malnutrition. They are not useful, and serve no purpose in enhancing your life or others’.

7) Be selfish enough to line up with your intentions
This is important because it is only in your thriving that you have anything to offer others. If your own energy tank is not full, you have no business looking after the tanks of others. It is important to limit your own responsibilities to prevent emotions like lack of self-worth etc. Remain present and in attendance to your own needs first and you will always give others your best, automatically.

8) You are not your accomplishments
Understand that you are not your accomplishments, what you do, what you don’t do, your beliefs, your ideas, your stuff or possessions, those are nothing to do with who you really are, they are the baggage you have picked up along the way, they are nothing to do with the spiritual you who wants to feel good; and stay connected to Peace. Lose your ego, and take this attitude of freedom with you in your everyday life.

9) The journey is the destination
Many times our internal dialogue says “If only I had x, then I would be happy, or, “I’ll be happy when I’ve got…” As you go into the world and experience the contrast of your likes .vs. your dislikes, through your everyday experiences, so a new want is born. Then comes the striving (and usually struggle) in the journey towards its manifestation, which contains all the stresses and strains you wish to rid yourself of. Understand this: you’ll never get it done. Because the journey itself towards your wants shows you new elements of contrast, new possibilities, new likes and dislikes, etc that change and alter your path. Thus your job here is not to get caught up in the end result but to ensure you enjoy the journey along the way, regardless of your goal, and ensure that your everyday journey contains all the same underlying experiences, emotions, and full-body feelings that you seek from your end goal, anyway. The journey is the destination. So enjoy it.

Bringing it all together
So how do we overcome the various stress blocks to pull greater peace and abundance towards us? EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is one way to release the emotional blocks of shoulds, musts, ought-tos, anger, fear, resentment, and so on. Once the biggest unconscious blocks have been resolved, your intentions, ambitions, passion will feel that much free-er to move towards you, automatically and effortlessly. Circumstances and people appear in your life from nowhere and events begin aligning themselves, as the universe conspires with you, to realize your passion.

Are You a Success Liar?

Would you like to know why it is that I’m not as rich and successful as Donald Trump?
Or why it is that you are sitting there with less success and a lot less money in the bank than Warren Buffet?
One word will answer that conundrum: liar.
I’m a liar.
You’re a liar. Pretty much everyone you know is a liar.
I’m not trying to pick a fight here – just pointing out that one of the most basic human traits – and the biggest obstacle to our own success – is our ability to pull the wool over our own eyes.
We tell ourselves all kinds of things to justify our actions (and more often inactions), but when we really get down to it, most of those things we tell ourselves are lies.
We make up excuses for our anticipated lack of success, and then set up a mental feedback loop where those excuses keep getting repeated in our minds over and over again.
The more like Donald Trump and Warren Buffet we become, the fewer excuses we make. Less excuses = more success.
Yet here we are, telling ourselves lies that if we bothered to take a moment to analyze would quickly be revealed as falsehoods. We tell ourselves the same old fictions over and over again until the sheer act of repetition makes them seem more and more real in our minds.
And before we know what has happened, our quick, un-thought through excuses become ingrained. They assume their own reality and success is once again pushed out of reach.
In this way we lie to ourselves all the time.
99% of all the lies we tell ourselves that affect our potential for success include one of the most common 4- letter words in the English language (okay, be pedantic, four letters and an apostrophe): can’t.
Our subconscious mind doesn’t like unfinished sentences, so when we say ‘I can’t’ it has to tack on ‘because’ at the end.
So if you think, ‘I can’t be successful’, your subconscious mind will add ‘because I’m too lazy’ or ‘because I don’t have the skills’ or some other negative – and usually spurious – explanation. And then it is the false explanation that is stored, ready to poison your every effort.
‘I can’t write a book.’ Why not? Because ‘I’m not good with words’, ‘because nobody would read it’ because I’ll never find a publisher’. All silly statements that could easily be proved wrong after the book is written, but which serve to prevent you from taking action in case things go wrong, and of course, from ever reaching the success you really want.
When the ‘because’ is repeated internally often enough to be stored in the part of your brain that determines your own self-image, the ‘I can’t’ is justified.
You just HAVE to make yourself a liar so that your knee-jerk ‘I can’t’ reaction can become true.
It may be a paradox, but it is one that is holding you, me and everyone else back from achieving our success in all kinds of ways.
But you CAN break the cycle. You CAN start to change your subconscious self-image. You CAN stop your unconscious mind from making you a liar. You CAN be a success.
The only way that I know of to break the cycle is to remove the need for the brain to create its ‘because’ lie in the first place. Remove the ‘not’ part of the equation.
‘I can’ doesn’t need a justification – it is a positive statement of fact.
‘I can’ doesn’t make you a liar – it makes you a doer.
You have years of lies to address, so erasing them will take time, but it CAN be done.
Every opportunity you get, repeat to yourself ‘I CAN do … [whatever it is you want to do.]’
Think about all the successful people that you’ve heard about. Most of the time they didn’t start out with any more natural ability than you. They don’t have any particular success secret to making it big. They simply go into every new venture with the attitude that ‘I CAN succeed.’
The strange thing is that more often than not, when you start out something new brimful of confidence that you CAN succeed at it, events seem to work out that you will be successful.
Success comes from being honest with yourself and finally admitting that you can do it.

So go beyond your illusions on what or how your mate should be. Rather, focus on yourself and start to make the necessary changes needed to improve who you are as a spouse.

3. MEET HALFWAY- In every situation, especially when you reach the point that you are angry, hurt, and frustrated — you have to learn how to meet halfway. In other words, you must know how to compromise or negotiate. No two human beings are exactly alike. So settle your differences and learn to forgive each other right away. Don’t let the sun go down on you without you and your mate finding the solution.

4. REKINDLE – How do you refresh and fix a troublesome marriage? Bring back the love and intimacy. Work on it. Work on your marriage. Like life….marriage is not a bed of roses. You have to work it out with your partner by investing time, love, money, and interest in each other. Bring back the closeness by being honest, non-argumentative, and non-judgmental. Being happy together brings good mental health as well as the physical.
